Passed away February 23, 2025 as a result of an auto accident. Brody was born on December 16, 2005 in Spokane, WA to Dallas and Lacy Gustaveson, Brody lived his whole life in Lincoln county where he attended school in both Creston and Davenport graduating from Davenport High School in 2024. Brody loved the Gorilla sports he participated in. Football, Track, Golf and the sport/"Way of Life" that was closest to his heart, Wrestling.
Brody loved outdoor adventures. Fishing with his Grandpa Jim and mom, hunting with his high school buddies, skiing and snowboarding on the mountains he loved and cars. Oh did Brody love cars! He loved to put his "Brody style" on every car and truck he ever owned. He had a good collection of them, the louder the better. One of Brody's proudest moments was the day he went to work with his dad for Copenhaver Construction. He wanted nothing more than to be the best ground guy and operator his dad had ever seen. "The best of the west in the whole Northwest" as he would say. One thing Brody did not lack was strong work ethic and the willingness to jump right in and help wherever needed. What meant the very most to Brody was his Family, Friends and Especially his role of "Big Brother". He did this with pride and had a very special relationship with each of his brothers.
Brody is survived by his parents Dallas and Lacy Gustaveson at the home, his three brothers Brock, Bryce and Brett Gustaveson. His grandparents Jana Johnson and Daryl (Lauretta) Gustaveson. Great grandpa Jerry Schillinger. Aunt Holly (Mike) McDaniel and cousin Jason Schillinger, Hona Moms Shelley Biggs and Sue Peters and best friend Brendon Peters-Biggs as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Brody is preceded in death by his brother Bo in 2017, grandpa Jim Schillinger, grandma Paula Thomas, great grandmothers Joan Gustaveson, Valera Goetz and Marilou Schillinger and aunt Whitney Schillinger.
Funeral service, will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at the Davenport High School Gym, 801 7th St. Davenport, WA with Pastor Brandon Rainwater, officiating. Memorials may be made in Brody’s name to the Davenport High School Wrestling Program. Fond memories and
