He started the first boys little league program and participated in that program for many years. He attended and supported many high school sporting events.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snow skiing. His comradery with friends was pure enjoyment. Whether he was spending time with them, playing jokes, or causing a ruckus. He thoroughly enjoyed friends around the dining room table sharing a good home cooked meal. Ike spent many hours at the shop with his dear friends and you know who you are.
Ike farmed many years and was willing to mentor anyone wanting to improve their farming skills. He was known in his later years as the boss driving around checking out the various fields and skilled expertise on how to improve that year’s crop. Ike was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, that loves him dearly. His passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones.
