Joseph Isaac Spencer

Born July 30, 1982 to Jim and Mary Spencer in Spokane, WA. He was the fifth child of six to the Spencer family. He was a proud dad to Colton aka “C.Hawk,” who was born in 2022. Joe graduated from West Valley High School in 2001. He graduated from EWU, Summa Cum Laude, with his BA in Communication Studies in 2022. Joe was a diehard Seahawks fan and enjoyed being a season ticket holder. Bloomsday was a yearly event that he participated in. Joe loved his job and co-workers at Accretive Technology. He is a direct descendant of the Spokane Tribe. Joe passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2025. He is survived by his Son, Colton; his parents, Jim and Mary Spencer; Siblings Jamie, Penny, Jacob and Jesse Spencer and Christine Bale; Mother of his son, Samantha Hermes; Brother Billy Shuster; Nephews Cruz, Jackson, Hunter and Cooper; Nieces Mary, Carly & Taralynn; Great Nieces Maliah and Nova. Family and lots of friends. Joe is preceded in death by his nephew, Robert McCoy Jr and niece Nickole McCoy. Viewing will be held from 6:00PM – 8:00 PM, February 3, 2025 at Strates Funeral Home, 505 10th Street, Davenport, WA. Funeral Services will be February 4, 2025 at 10:00am at the Westend Community Center, 6419 Salinas Ct, Fruitland, WA 99129 on the Spokane Reservation. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Ford, WA. In lieu of flowers the family requests all donations be to Colton Spencer’s fund.
