Marianne G. Brommer

Marianne G. Brommer passed away May 8, 2023 in Spokane, WA. Marianne was born June 29, 1937 in Spokane, WA to Otto and Marian Remmers. Marianne married Edward Brommer on February 9, 1957 in Cheney, WA and then made their home in Reardan, WA. Marianne is a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and enjoys Gonzaga Basketball and the Spokane Indians Baseball, family history and yardwork and her flower garden, going to the cabin on Waitts Lake and spending time with family. She was always a homemaker, caring for her family, but she also worked for over 20 years as the head cook for the Reardan school district. She is survived by her husband of 66 yrs. Ed at the home, three daughters Rhonda (Mark) Kalous, Brenda (Alex) Guhlke and Sandra (Randy) Walen along with 6 grandchildren, Christopher (Ashlie), Scott (Katie), Holly (Jared), Anne, Sarah and Brittany, 8 great grandchildren and two great –great grandchild. Her sisters Gerry Godley, Lorene Nilles and Jackie Kutz and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Reardan, WA with Pastor Greg Yeager, officiating. A reception will immediately follow the services at the Reardan Community Hall. Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran church or the donor’s choice.
