

Myrl married the love of his live and best friend Mary Estelle Finch in 1964. They were together for 61 years, they built a beautiful life Rooted in faith, family and hard work. They began raising their family in Davenport, welcoming their children Colleen and Matthew.
Before moving to Odessa where Myrl found the place he would call home for the rest of their lives—the family farm, for more than 50 years.
Myrl faithfully farmed wheat, stewarding the land with dedication, pride and deep respect.
Myrl was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and generous heart. He also had a passion for antique cars and trucks, lovingly
restoring them to their original beauty. His craftsmanship earned him many awards and brought him great joy, but what he treasured the
most was his family. Myrl loved his wife Mary, children, grand-children and great-grandchildren. He delighted in sharing stories and memories
with anyone that was willing to listen, often with a twinkle in his eye and warmth in his voice. The farm wasn’t just his work place---it was
his sanctuary, his legacy and the place he loved deeply.
Myrl was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Estelle Miller; their daughter Colleen (Miller) Cochran; great-granddaughter, Amani King,
his brother Clark Miller and parents Fred and Catherine Miller.
Myrl is survived by his son Matthew Miller, daughter-in-law Lorie (Paris) Miller; his grandchildren: Tara (Cochran) Dyke, Trent and Tyler Cochran,
Bryant Miller, Brandon Miller, Nathan Miller and KcAnn (Miller) King. Thirteen great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. Avery Miller,
Kamari King, Evelyn and Nolan Miller, Elizabeth, Elijah, Josiah and Theodore Dyke, Talen, Taryn, Emma, Daisy and Kora Cochran.
Myrl’s life was a testament to his faithfulness, love, dedication and perseverance. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the land he
tended and the countless lives he touched. Myrl (Papa) will be dearly missed by all.
