

Bob grew up on the family farm and graduated from Odessa High School in 1948. He farmed a wheat ranch and managed cattle on his farm north of Odessa.
Bob married the love of his life, Katherine (Casey) McFarland on August 2nd, 1969. In 1978, the family sold the ranch and moved to Spokane, Washington. Bob was hard working and applied that to his many endeavors. His sales and trading ability led him into the antique business. He had a natural ability to talk to anyone and always had a story to tell. Bob owned an antique shop and eventually an estate sales business, Casey’s Antiques. Bob also was the proud owner of the Hi Neighbor Tavern.
His girls were his pride and joy, and he is survived by four daughters: Cheryl Bolin (Spokane, WA), Dianne Spivy (Nine Mile Falls, WA), Sonja Hemmerling (Puyallup, WA), and Becky (Patrick) Elias of Kennewick WA. His precious granddaughters, Daphne and Cressida Elias, were the light of his life. His beloved wife Casey also survives him.Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Clarence (Carolyn) Hemmerling, Ivan (Lois) Hemmerling, and Emanuel Hemmerling, and his sister Viola (Wayne) Lightbody.
Funeral Services will held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Odessa Cemetery Chapel followed by the burial in the Odessa Cemetery.
