

Roger Lester Scott, 92 of Harrington, Washington passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026 in Spokane, Washington. Born on August 26, 1933, he lived a full and meaningful life rooted in faith and family.
Roger was the beloved husband of Janet (Beieler) Scott with whom he shared 70 years of love and devotion. They were married September 7, 1954 and together they built a family that was the center of his world. Along with his wife, Janet, he is survived by his children: Laurie (Scott) Stuart, Allan (Molly) Scott, Julie (Dennis) Miner and Sheri (Mark) Lambert. Roger's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Becky, Christina, Nicole, Patrick, Heather, Brett, Jeff, Bentley and Aynslee—as well as his great grandchildren: Bryce, Katelyn, Selah, Israel,
Jakiah, Judah, Malachi, Hadley, Brinley, Kayson, Blake, Rylan, Easton, Ethyn, Payton, Finnley and Zoey. His family tree extends further to include two great-great grandchildren: Miracle and Layla.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Dorothy Scott; his brother Harold Scott and his sister; Vivian Scott.
Roger graduated from Harrington High School in 1951 and was a lifelong wheat farmer and raised cattle. He served in the army; was a member of St Francis Catholic Church and The American Legion. Roger and Janet spent many years traveling with their RV and enjoyed many summers spending time with family at Badger Lake.
Above all else, Roger fiercely loved and supported his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he cherished and found great joy in being around.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM at St. Francis Catholic Church in Harrington, WA. A rosary will be recited prior to Mass beginning at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow Mass at Hillcrest Cemetery in Harrington.
