Passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of July 12, 2012 after an incredible battle with cancer for 14 months. She was born on September 3, 1957 in Spokane, WA. Her first home was in Wilbur, then Lincoln WA where she really always called “home”. Teresa graduated from Creston High School in 1975 where, among other activities, she was a member of Honor Society and was active in basketball and keeping scorebooks for boys basketball, football, and baseball teams. After graduating, she attended classes at Spokane Community College. Teresa enjoyed gardening and landscaping, she was an accomplished photographer and had an eye for scenic pictures, and she especially enjoyed driving through the country (or mountains in order to capture a unique shot. Teresa is survived by her daughter, Crystal (John) Goodwin of Savannah, GA and grandchildren Kaleb, Gavin, Brandon, and Travis; her son Chance Wolfe of Spokane; parents Shirley Groh of Odessa, WA and Ralph (Lucille) Starzman of Stevensville, MT; brothers Kurt (Vicki) Starzman of Stevensville, MT and Wade (Traci) Starzman of Wilbur, WA; sister-in-law Cathy Starzman of Wilbur, WA and sister Robin Starzman of Vancouver, WA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Teresa was preceded in death by her brother Jeff Starzman and her nephew, Kacey Starzman. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wilbur Cemetery, followed by a Memorial Service at the Community Presbyterian Church in Wilbur at 11:00 a.m. Strate Funeral home, Davenport, WA is caring for the family.
