She lived a life marked by simplicity, generosity, and unwavering faith. Always active and full of energy, she inspired those around her to stay active and care for their health. She loved music and was a gifted singer, faithfully serving in a choir in Korea and later in church choirs after immigrating to the United States in 1998. Her life was one of joyful service, continually devoted to her church and community.
A devoted and earnest Christian, she inherited a deep faith from her own mother and became a spiritual pillar for her family. Through her steadfast belief and example, she nurtured and strengthened the faith of her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of trust in God and commitment to Christ.
In 2000, she experienced kidney failure and began peritoneal dialysis. With remarkable perseverance and grace, she continued dialysis for nearly 25 years—an extraordinary testimony of endurance and hope. Even in physical weakness, her faith remained strong.
Though she had struggled with sleep for many years, during the final two weeks of her life she rested peacefully in the hospital. On February 25, 2026, surrounded by the assurance of heaven and the hope of eternal life, she answered God’s call without pain and in perfect peace. Before her passing, she reaffirmed her confidence in the kingdom of heaven, once again passing on her faith and hope to her family.
Her family gives thanks to God for her life, her love, and the eternal hope they share in Christ, trusting that they will meet again in His glorious presence.
