I will always remember Aunt Mavis  and the great memories of her at and in her home on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn.  My wedding shower, times with families laughing  and sharing the good times. She will be missed, but the memories will last. My prayers are with the family. Much love and do focus on the memories of her! May her soul rest in peace.

I will always remember Mrs. Slater’s kindness to me and my family.  Personally, she always made me feel like a member of her family when I was a little girl.

Condolences to my family in this our time of grieving. Aunt Mavis  as we affectionately call her.  She was a lovely soul, always kind and peaceably. I remember the first time she came jamaica and she bought me  gousha polka dot dress. She was always there for my family and supported my dad , which is her uncle even until his death. We love her and will certainly miss her . As she sleeps in the arms angel ,may her soul continue to sleep on peace.

My grand aunt, affectionately called “Aunt Cooley,”  by her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews will be dearly missed.  I only have the most loving and fondest memories of my grandaunt.  She was the epitome of glamour in her presentation, her walk, and even her talk!  She bought me my first pair of platform sandals as a teenager from one of her favorite stores, Macy’s.  She would always tell me  how beautiful I was, and coming from her, who I viewed as such a beautiful person, it meant so much to me.  We love you Aunt Cooley, and you will be missed greatly!  My condolences to all my family.

My deepest condolences to my cousins, grandmother, and family. Aunt Coolie was always that “fashionista aunt from NY.” I loved just sitting and talking about her and ma’s days in Jamaica growing up. She will be sadly missed.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the lovely family of Mrs Slater.  Mrs Slater has always been an inspiration to me throughout my life.   Mrs. Slater was such a beautiful and poised  Woman.   I sincerely considered her my “Mom in Law” as she has been so kind as well as a true  blessing to myself and my daughter which is also Mrs. Slater’s granddaughter Jessica (Jonathan) and their 3 children-Josiah, Jonathan and Joelle.
