Frank Casey

Frank was born in Philadelphia, PA to John and Mary Casey on October 4, 1936. After 12 years of Catholic School in NJ, he married Shirley Poponi on December 10, 1955 in Haddon Heights celebrating 70 years of marriage this year. Frank moved with his family to Florida in 1967. He went for a 2-week job with Kuznick Well Drilling & Irrigation that turned into a e1 year career.

Frank was involved in several clubs. He was President of Columbus Civic League of Broward County, Past President of the Florida Federation of Italian American Clubs, Past President of the Enrico Fermi Lodge Sons of Italy, Parliament of the Broward Council of Italian American Clubs, and member of the American Italian Association of Pembroke Pines. Frank was proud to have been made an honorary Italian. Also, he was a past officer of the Plumber Local Union 519.

Frank is preceded in death by his loving son Robert, his caring & loving parents John & Mary, his sisters Margie, Elizabeth & Joan, and his brother Joseph.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife Shirley and his cherished children Frank (Lori), Sherry, and Chris; along with his precious grandchildren Michelle (Coy) Robinson, Matthew (Michelle) Casey, Francis (Lisa) Casey III, Jennifer (Travis) Butler, Jacqulyn (Don) Barrett, Michael (Kellie) Casey, Andrew (Belinda) Casey, Christopher (Nicole) Casey Jr, Kayla (Kane) Thompson, Shea Casey, Patrick Casey and Gabrielle Casey plus the light of his life his 15-1/2 Great Grandchildren (Alexis, Elena, Matthew Jr., Madison, Casey, Kealy, Riley, Tori, Mack, Easton, Owen, Kinley, Austin, Alyssa, Allison

and one on the way). Also surviving Frank is his sister Madeline Jones and Marie “Mary” Casey.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 12:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M.
