Julia Del Carmen Ballestas, 75, of Fort Lauderdale, passed away on March 15, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Julia was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, to Julia Gomez and Sergio Ballestas on November 13, 1950.
Julia is survived by her daughter, Christina Joy Posso, and son-in-law, Jack Brown, her 5 siblings Abel, Gladis, Esteban, Inrida, and Yomira, plus 15 nieces and nephews and 13 grandnieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 12 pm on March 20th at Fred Hunters Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Fred Hunters Funeral Home
