Michael A. Whiteman, age 72, of Miami Springs, Florida, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Cooper City, Florida. Mike was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Cheryl; a loving father to Meredith and Kathryn; and a cherished grandfather to Lily, Ruby, Jonah, and Ellinor.
A true Floridian, Mike was born in Miami, Florida, on July 29, 1953, to Robert and Mary Frances Whiteman. He graduated from Miami Springs Senior High School and Miami-Dade South Community College. Mike built a long and varied career in Information Systems, working for ADP, Spec’s Music, and National Liquidators, before spending most of his professional life with Windjammer Barefoot Cruises.
