Ti William's Mother: Tante Marie Edith, 
my Marraine :
...the Constant in William's  everyday.

As the youngest of three siblings, their mother/ son relationship developed over the years, through honesty, duty, patience, loyalty, disagreements, and LOVE... right till the end.  

The two would soon add into the mix, "DAILY" hour-long phone calls from Florida to Port-Au-Prince as their way to keep contact.

 Through their lengthy talks,
Ti William and Tante Marie would most likely share their stories; or, probably wrap up the day with a chat about anything current or funny.  Unknowingly, they sealed their connection for always.

William being William, found a way to care at a distance for his Mom.... But, with each evening's phone call, their bond also grew stronger, as the mother and son became great friends.

My Marraine, Marie Edith, as his mother and his fondest admirer will feel his loss like no other.

I know that William's love will keep reaching out each day to support her,  as it had for so many years; to give Tante Marie a sense of calm and peace as she lives with his unmeasurable absence.

Rise in Glory, our dear Cousin Ti William!

Patricia, my heart goes out to you for the loss of your husband, your better half. No word can ease your pain.  You are not alone.  William always reminds me about the most precious moments, the immemorable time, the wonderful time, when Manmie Marcelle would drive to St Marc with the TEAM and bring joy and "Christmas time" every other week-end. 
Those memories never fade away, and the joy, the laughter, the chocolate, the little gifts, the food, the beach, the fun.  You are not alone. Heartfelt condolences to Marie Edith, Ti Clif,  Murielle,  Dinah, Marie Ange, Michouchou,  and the grieving families. Bon Voyage Will.

I am so lucky to have experienced several stages of life with William — from a young, mischievous kid growing up in Haiti to a thoughtful, caring, but equally spirited adult. I have fond memories of William’s antics as a kid, like the time he decided to demonstrate to my cousins and me how to make someone pass out with a maneuver he had just learned, and ended up making himself faint and fall into my aunt Lola’s cactus plant. Or the time William and Clifford initiated a fireworks battle by pointing exploding bottle rockets at each other during a family New Year’s celebration at the Schutt residence.

Through all these years of shared laughter, deep discussions about life, and even hardships, one thing always remained true about William: he loved his family with all of his heart and soul. Even during his own difficult moments, he was always there, ready to listen to anyone’s issues and provide his truthful perspective. At family gatherings, he lit up the room and made everyone laugh, always happy to see everyone.

Fate has taken William from us too soon and left a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. May he rest in peace and make us smile every time we remember the joy he brought into our lives.

Will wasn’t just my cousin—he was a spark in every room, a burst of laughter when you needed it most, a wild heart you couldn’t help but love.

He lived loudly, loved his family, and had a way of turning even the ordinary into something unforgettable. Life was funnier, louder, and fuller with him in it.

I miss him more than words can say—but I carry him with me in every adventure, every loud laugh.

You were one of a kind, cous. And you always will be.
