Agnes Mullen Vislosky

Agnes Vislosky passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Agnes was born November 7, 1933 in Ayr, Scotland. She is preceded in death by her father James and mother Helen Turner, siblings, Mary, Sarah, Jimmy, Lena, and William.

Agnes is survived by her beloved husband Alfred of 65 years who is a veteran, and they traveled the world together, children, Helen, AnnaMarie, and Catherine (John) Kiley. Grandchildren, Josephine (Michael) Greco-Troutwine, Andrew (Katie) Meyers , Ralph Alex Winkler, Alfred (Janelle) Winkler . Great grandchildren, Camden, Mina, Declan, Jasper and Teddy-Ryder.

Agnes was a woman of great Catholic faith that she passed on to her family. She retired with 32 years of service to the United States government where she received awards for superior and outstanding evaluations. Agnes was a member of Saint Vincent DePaul where she was recognized for her unfailing service to the community. She was the winner of a Kitty Hawk Toastmistress competition.

Those who knew Agnes were aware that she was proud of her Scottish heritage. One of the best features of Agnes was her radiant smile that people were drawn to. She talked to everyone and never knew a stranger. Agnes was proud of her immediate family and their achievements. The world did not know Agnes, but the world will surely miss her. Agnes took her husband on one hell of a journey, and he thanks her for the ride.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at St. Luke the Evangelist Church. Family to receive friends one hour prior to Mass. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Luke Conference of Saint Vincent DePaul Society or Hospice of Dayton in memory of Agnes. Arrangements entrusted to TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Beavercreek Chapel.
