

He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Mildred, and his brother Walter (Wayne). He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Catherine of Jamestown; brother and sister-in-law Richard and Cathy of Xenia, sister-in-law Marion of Englewood; two sons and daughter-in-law Kurt and Joyce of Bear Lake, Michigan and Neil of Cedarville; and two grandchildren Megan and Austin.
A skilled machinist, he retired from Delphi Corp. in 2005 after 30 years of service in Kettering. Fred was a 43 year member of the Beaver Valley Masonic Lodge # 753 F&AM, and a 41 year member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton. Fred had a deep love for his family and he lived each day to be with them anywhere outdoors. Their countless adventures together created a lifetime of fond memories. His family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nurses at Crossroads Hospice in Dayton for their kind care and support. Visitation 5-7 PM Wednesday March 4, 2015 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ( Beavercreek Chapel) 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road. Masonic and Funeral Service to follow at 7 PM Wednesday.
