BEASLEY, Alta Lee nee Stephens, age 96, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Henry Joe Beasley. She is survived by son, Larry (Nancy) Beasley; grandchildren, Jeannene Beasley and Steven (Debra) Beasley; great-grandchildren, Casey and Kaelyn Beasley; two brothers-in-law, Gene Beasley and Paul (Jeanette) Beasley; and her friend and caregiver, Ermelinda “Emy” Wade. Alta played basketball in high school which led to her being an avid walker. She was a former member at North Dayton Baptist Church and retired as an Executive Secretary with the Meade Corp.
