Anne Wolfe Keeley

Keeley, Anne (Wolfe) 95, of Centerville, OH formerly of Ocean Pines, MD died on April 24, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born to William Frederick and Florence Marie (Murphy) Wolfe, Sr. in Washington D.C. Preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, William M Keeley (Bill), of 69 years and brother William F Wolfe, Jr (Bill). She is survived by daughters, Lynda (Spring) of Washington Township, OH, Pamela (Kent) Smith of Dandridge, TN, sons, William Thomas (Kathy) of Maryville, TN, David Scott (Fran) of Washington Township, OH and John Jeffrey (fiancé Aislinn Watkins) of Clinton County, OH. Also survived by six grandchildren Jill, Jessica, Jack, Kalin, Luke and Max, six great-grandchildren Adena, Madison, Genevieve, Loundon, Deagan and Finn, three sisters Jane (Everett) Cooper, Sharon Montillo, Judy (George) Barney, sister-in-law Elaine Keeley, plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She attended McKinley (Tech) High School in Washington D.C. and University of Maryland where she met her college sweetheart, Bill, in 1949. They were married during semester break on January 27, 1951. The family moved 11 times and lived in nine states, repeating several. Anne became involved with activities such as Cub Scout den mother, Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, PTO high school president, state delegate in Minnesota for the Republican Party and also Maryland. While in MD on the eastern shore, she was a seven-year volunteer for Atlantic General Hospital. She was an avid contract and duplicate bridge player and she and Bill shared a host of friendships made over the bridge table wherever they lived.

The Keeley’s spent 33 years in retirement visiting family, cruising, boating and traveling all the States, Europe, Central America and being there for each other.
