Barbara Ann Adkins

ADKINS, Barbara Ann, age 67, passed away on Saturday August 4th, 2018 at Kettering Hospital. She was born March 8th, 1951 in Lewisburg to Hubert and Erma Kreitzer. She was a 1969 graduate from Twin Valley North. Barb married John “Jack” Adkins on June 4th, 1985. In Dayton, she worked as an outside lending sales representative at Fifth Third Bank. Barb truly lived her life to the fullest by enjoying the simple things in life. She loved going to the beach, supporting her children through school and sports, and attending book club and wine night with her girlfriends. She also enjoyed giving back to the community by volunteering in projects through the church and charity events all over the state. She had a way of caring for everyone and always putting them before her to make sure they were okay. In the last 6 years, she battled through Multiple Myeloma and Dialysis. She fought her hardest for many years and inspired many to keep fighting and to never give up. She is survived by her husband, Jack, daughter, Carrie, son, Michael, sisters, Judy and Pat, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Family, friends, and others whose lives Barb touched are invited to TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton Ohio 45429 from 9:00am to 11:30am on Friday August 10th, 2018 to celebrate the beautiful life of Barbara at 11:30.
