Barbara A Burns

BURNS, Barbara A., age 77, of Beavercreek, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011. She was born in Marion, OH on November 6, 1933 to the late Ernest and Hedwig (Geirich) Rech. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William C. Burns and siblings, Louise Yeoman and Rudi Rech. She is survived by her daughter Belinda A. (Lynn) Burns, of Kettering; sister in-law, Dorothy (Carl) Mattson, of CT; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, beloved pets, and numerous other family members and friends. Barb volunteered throughout her life for various causes and was actively involved with Friends of SICSA. She was a loving wife and mother and long-time caregiver for various family members. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 118 Woodland Avenue, with Pastor Rob Wackerman officiating, with entombment to follow in the mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends on August 14, 2011 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd.
