Newbauer, Barbara Ann, age 81 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Robert Newbauer; parents Hobart and Charlene (Bauer) Cochran, and brothers Larry and Stevie. She is survived by her loving daughters Lorie Bierly and Shelly (Pete Kosti) Madden; step-daughters Lori (Jason) Cunningham and Lisa Wetteland; grandchildren Erin, Marissa, Hannah, Samantha, and Phillip, numerous great-grandchildren; brothers Davey and Pete, and sister Linda. Barbara worked as a nursing assistant for many years for Dr. Charlie Miller. She enjoyed spending time with family and loved ones, gardening and her home. She was a devout Catholic and member of Ascension Catholic Church. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
