Barbara O Talley

Barbara O'Neal Talley was affectionately known as Tinky. She was an encouragement in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love and unwavering faith in God. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Barbara was 94 years old and was born in Middleton, OH, on July 1, 1930. She went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2025, while in the care of hospice at Xenia Health and Rehab. Barbara leaves behind two daughters, Saira Aziz, Dayton OH, and Rosalynn Crawford (James), Xenia OH. She also leaves 14 grandchildren, 19 great grand children and 8 great great grand children who adored her dearly. A loving and devoted friend Julia Jackson and a host of relatives and friends who shared in her joyful spirit. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, her daughter Donna June, two sons Wayne and Charles Talley ll. Her parents, William and Mattie Barnett, and eight siblings, Ruby, Margaret, Thomas, Booker, Leonard, John Henry, Charles, and Irving all resided in Dayton OH.

Those who knew Barbara will remember her for her deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and her uncanny kindness she extended to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for making others feel loved, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

Although her physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her memory will continue to inspire and uplift us. We ask that you remember her for her love for Jesus and the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of charity and compassion in all that we do.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, May, 23, 2025 at Tobias Funeral Home (3970 Dayton- Xenia Road, Dayton, Ohio 45432) with visitation to begin after 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at West Memory Gardens.
