
GREER, Betty (Betsy) Williams nee Keiter, born August 12, 1920 quietly entered Eternity on August 13, 2013 at the age of 93 in her home at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. She was a graduate of Steele High, class of 1938 and lifelong member of Belmont United Methodist Church. She is survived by son Kenneth (Mary) Williams, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and dear friends Gary, Rachel and Meg Auman. She was preceded in death by husband Jack Williams, second husband Harlan Greer and son Larry Williams. Betty lived an adventurous life filled with extrodinary events. She flew in the Wright "B" Flyer and enjoyed a helicopter ride at 90. She was a well-known potter, woodcarver and quilter and enjoyed painting. Her gifted artistry filled her home and the homes of many who cherished her work. She was a member of the "Berry Patch" in Beavercreek and was awarded the prestigious "Ron Ryan" award by the Dayton Carvers Guild. At her passing, she was surrounded by family and friends who loved her very much. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Community of Beavercreek on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 2pm. A memorial service will be held at Belmont United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10am with Pastor Randy Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends at church from 9am until the time of services. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
