

Betty started her adult life as a model, a singer, and worked for TWA.
She moved to Kettering in 1957 as the first in her neighborhood and lived the remainder of her life there as she wished.
Betty was a stay-at-home mom and raised two daughters. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years, Donald E. Homer, sister Mary Lou LaMourie, brothers Richard Windhorst and Victor Windhorst, stepson Douglas Homer, and beloved cat Punkin.
She is survived by her daughters Bonita (Timothy) Allen and Jennifer (Michael) Rison, stepson Christopher Homer, stepdaughters Donna Barlett and Debbie (John) Pazano, grandchildren Amanda (Joshua) McDade, Nicholas (Kimberly) Allen, and Andrew Allen, step grandchildren Jamie Chapman and Nathan Chapman, great-grandchildren Olivia and Juniper, step great-grandchildren Amora and Soren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 8th 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek with services immediately following. Burial will be at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, Centerville. A gathering in her honor will be at Marion’s Pizza, 241 N Main St, Centerville following the burial.
