Shafer, Betty Jean, age 86 of Dayton passed away September 8, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband Richard John Shafer Jr.; son Alex Hussey; and parents William Coffey and Louise Erskine. Survived by her children: Mary Kerr, William Hussey, Gerald Hussey and Jeanne Hussey; grandchildren: Elizabeth Kerr and Raymond Hussey. A Graveside service will be held at 12 noon, Sunday September 11, 2016 at Woodland Cemetery, 118 Woodland Ave. Dayton, in care of Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel. www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
