Beverly had a special love for life’s simple pleasures—especially dining out with family, where dessert and sweets were always a must. She was known for her gentle smile, her listening ear, and her constant words of encouragement. Whether offering comfort, kindness, or quiet support, Beverly was always there for those who needed her.

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Beverly attended Stivers High School and remained deeply connected to her community throughout her life. She was widowed in 2010 by her loving husband, Cliff Taylor, with whom she shared many cherished years.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Marie Eaton (Blair), and her siblings Karolyn, Frank, Janet, and Larry. She is survived by her sister, Cecilia Thomas.
Her legacy of love spans five generations. She is lovingly survived by her daughter Cynthia Shahan; step-daughter Patricia Swisher (James); grandchildren Aaron (Laura) Drayton, Joshua (Conrad) Drayton, Ryan (Brittany) Drayton, Melissa Swisher, Matthew Swisher, and James Swisher; and great-granddaughters Anna and Maddie Drayton, who brought her immense joy.
Visitation will be held on February 3rd at 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM at St. Henry’s Chapel at Calvary Cemetery, with interment at Calvary Mausoleum immediately afterward.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Carlyle House and Bethany Hospice for their loving care and support.
