
TURNER, Blanche C., of Beavercreek, Ohio died peacefully at home February 26, 2012 at the age of 86. She was a retired employee of Dayton Tire and Rubber Company who enjoyed 66 wonderful years with her devoted husband, James Kinner Turner, a retiree of Stinger’s Ford. They spent winters in their condominium in Ft. Myers, FL., taking cruises, enjoying music with many of her Stinger’s Ford friends that loved her and traveling to many other wonderful places. Blanche is also survived by a loving daughter and son-in-law Judy and Jim DeDario of Centerville, OH., two grandsons and their wives; Jon and Karen DeDario of Grand Rapids, MI along with their three children; Kyle, Justin and Elizabeth, Jason and Emily DeDario of Kettering, OH along with their four children; Kennedy, Lance, Reese and Brooks. Other survivors include a sister Maxine Jones, a brother Bryan Deel, both of Vansant, VA., and a brother Eugene Deel of Enon, OH., along with many nieces, nephews, friends and wonderful neighbors. We want to thank the pastors and all our special friends at Hope United Methodist Church. We also want to thank Hospice for their excellent care and a special thank you to her family doctor Mary Beth Rodes, M.D. for her understanding and compassion. The visitation will be at Hope United Methodist Church, 5980 Wilmington Pike Dayton, OH 45459-7005 on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with the service immediately following officiated by Pastor Tori Powers-Smith. The burial will be in Virginia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope United Methodist Church’s “Hope Helping Hands Fund”, or the Alzheimer’s Association 3797 Summit Glen Road, Dayton, OH 45449.
