Bonnie D Mehlhorn

MEHLHORN, Bonnie D., age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Bonnie was born January 12, 1923 in Apple Grove, West Virginia were she was raised by her parents Worthy Ernest and Ella (Stover) Duncan. Bonnie was a fifty year active member of the Eastmont United Methodist Church. After retiring as a seamstress she often traveled with the Young at Heart, a seniors group sponsored by the Washington Heights Baptist Church. Bonnie was also very active in her grandchildren’s lives. She is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin E. Mehlhorn and their son Douglas L. Mehlhorn MD. Bonnie is survived by her son Michael(Pam)Mehlhorn of Centerville; grandchildren Adrianne(Ryan)Sullivan of Washington Township and Christopher Mehlhorn of Newport Beach, CA; daughter-in-law Alice Warner-Mehlhorn of Hickory Corners, MI; sister Eleanor Selby of Grove City, OH; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of cherished friends. Family to receive family and friends Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel; where service will be held 10:00am Monday with Pastor George Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at the David’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in Bonnie’s memory to the Eastmont United Methodist Church.
