Klaus, Caesar, III, age 80, of Beavercreek, OH passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born on August 17, 1933 in Peoria, IL to Caesar and Mary Elizabeth (Ridgely) Klaus, Jr., who preceded him in death. Caesar is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Carolyn (Sheehan) Klaus, of Beavercreek; his 4 children, Cindy E. (Ray) Elliott, of Jefferson City, TN, Caesar Klaus, IV, Christy A. Klaus, Caryn M. (Eric) Magee, all of Beavercreek; a brother, Terry R. (Mary Margaret) Klaus, of Eureka, IL; 3 sisters, Ketra J. (Gary) Burton, of Buda, IL, Kandace A. Klaus, of Eureka, IL, Katherine A. (Lou) Esteppe, of Potomac, IL; 6 grandchildren, Rory (Whitney) Elliott, of Memphis, TN, Kelsey (Nick) Sherrod, of Knoxville, TN, Paige, Meredith, Regan and Avery Magee, all of Beavercreek. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Caesar was retired from Electronic Data Systems. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014, from Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Road, Kettering, OH with Reverend Alan Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Byron Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
