Candice C. Umbaugh

UMBAUGH, Candice C., of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully at her home in Huber Heights on Thursday, March 10, 2016. Candice was born on September 6, 1985, daughter of Susan Bunn and Steven Umbaugh; and sister to John "Chris" Umbaugh. She is survived by many, many loving family members and close friends. Most importantly, Candice will continue to live through her two young and beautiful daughters, Addison and Morgan. An Addison & Morgan Benefit Fund has been established in their names at Fifth Third Bank. By just months, she was preceded in death by her love in life, closest friend, and father of her children, Diontae Johnson. Candice was born at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho and grew up in Beavercreek, graduating from Beavercreek High School in 2003, where she was active in Show Choir, Art Classes and the Junior Class Treasurer. Candice was also an active member of the Beavercreek Community Theater where her fondest memory was as lead singer in the production of "HONK". She attended Sinclair Community College, Rio Grande University and Ohio State University. For the past eight years Candice worked in Accounting/Payroll at Wellcare Home Health, Inc. where she was known for her friendly and challenging spirit. Services will be held on Thursday, March 17 at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. The Family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM with a funeral service being held immediately after. Refreshments/Food will be provided in an adjacent room during the visitation time to allow family and friends to gather and share memories.
