

Born on September 21, 1990, in Dayton, Ohio, Cassandra lived a life full of love, resilience, and adventure. She was known for her outgoing personality, kind and loving heart, and unwavering loyalty to her family and friends. Cassandra embraced life with a passion for new experiences and a spirit that inspired those around her. Her beautiful smile could light up any room, and even through life’s obstacles, she remained strong, always pushing forward with determination.
Cassandra was a proud graduate of Kaplan, where she pursued her passion for helping others and built a career as a medical assistant—an accomplishment she held close to her heart. Her dedication and compassion touched many lives both personally and professionally.
Above all, Cassandra was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving parents, Mary Dunford and Sam Dunford; her sisters, Mandy Johnson and Christina Hager; her brothers, Joshua Templeton, Jesse Templeton, and Autie Johnson; her cherished son, Tyler Gibson, who was the center of her world; her nieces, Lexie Hale, Alyssa Templeton, and Amelia Jo Templeton; and her nephews, Isaac Johnson and Luke Johnson. She also leaves behind countless extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ranelle Piercey and Wiley Piercey.
For those who would like to pay their respects, a viewing will be held on Friday, April 24th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, April 25th at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place afterward at Bellbrook Cemetery on Saturday.
Though her life was cut far too short, Cassandra lived fully and loved deeply. Her strength, kindness, and vibrant spirit will never be forgotten.
