Christopher, Stacy Jr. age 76 passed away at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Venice, Florida on March 3, 2024. He was born on December 16, 1947 in Hazard, Kentucky to parents Christopher and Pauline (Lawson) Stacy who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are Shirley Fay Glascoe, Christine Williams, Josephine Lovely,
Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Stacy; children Tammy (Andrew) Boardman, Chris (Andreia) Stacy, Nicci Oakes, and Josh (Colleen) Stacy.
Grandchildren, Jesse, Britnay, Bailey, Ryan, Ana, Ally, Alex, Silas and Lulu and 8 great grandchildren.
Chris is also survived by brothers and sisters, Geneva Gray, Randall Stacy, Roger (Kim) Stacy, Debbie (Wayne) Caudill, Brenda (Steve) Caudill, Mike Stacy, Sandra (Rex, Jr.) Berger, Teresa Stacy
Christopher worked as a Millwright and retired from General Motors 26 years ago. Chris was an amazing husband, father and dedicated Christian who loved Jesus and served Him and others well.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, the family asks instead that donations be made to Spaulding Road Church of God, who has served our family so well in this time.
The family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation on Tuesday, March 12 from 11 AM – Noon at Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Road, Dayton, Ohio 45432. Funeral service to follow the visitation with Chris’s youngest son Josh Stacy presiding. Burial will follow the service at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton with a luncheon to follow the committal back at the church.
