

Morrow, Conrad N. (Happy Pappy), age 79 of Kettering passed away Friday, July 1, 2011. He was born in Harlan, KY. Conrad was preceded in death by his parents Charles T. and Gertrude (Laws) Morrow, sisters Ramona Morrow Browning and Janette Morrow Tweed, and his wife of 44 years Agnes Ruth Morrow. He is survived by his daughters Donna, Vickie, Ramona, Patty, Jenny, Barbie, Linda, and son James (Tommy), brothers Frank (Mary) Morrow, Bobby (Louise) Unthank, brother-in-law George Tweed, Nephews Mark and Charles and nieces Treasa and Karen, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special friends Regina and Johnnie Adams, Tony Morton, Judi Townsend and employees at CVS and Pizza Hut. He served in the US Air Force from 1950-54. He was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel in 2008. He retired as a professional painter after 50 years. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Maryville, TN. He lived life to the fullest spending time with family and friends, reading the funny papers, taking walks and especially fishing. He always made people laugh with his jokes and stories. He would do anything for anyone and ask for nothing in return. His love was undying: his word unbreakable. His friends were forever, his smile as big as his heart. He will forever be known as Happy Pappy. Funeral service will be 1PM Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. Pastor Douglas Criswell officiating. Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call from 11AM until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
