

David Lee Chambliss, 65, of Xenia, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2022. He is preceded in death by his father George Chambliss and two brothers George Chambliss Jr (Marsha) and Kenny Chambliss (Lothel).
He is survived by his mother Ruth Chambliss as well as his loving wife of 46 years, Freda Chambliss. He is survived by his son Dusty Lee Chambliss (Shanna Faith Chambliss); brothers Scott Chambliss (Sharon) and Kevin Chambliss; sisters Nancy Newcomer (Jeff) and Cindy Erbaugh (David); grandchildren Emmy Faith and Chloe Rose Chambliss; brother and sister in-laws, Ron & Delores Myers, Paula Vaught, David & Sandy Myers, Lynn & Larry Piatt; along with many nieces and nephews, other family, friends including special family friend Frieda Parks, and his cat Raven.
David was a class of 1975 graduate of Xenia High School, and in the same year promised to marry Freda. He worked with Carboline Co. for over 20 years. Thereafter, he moved on to Coca-Cola where he worked for another 20 years. Undoubtedly, his greatest joys in life came from being with family and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting wild turkey and deer, fishing, and riding around four-wheeling for fun. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. David will be sorely missed by those who so loved him.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15th from 10AM-12PM at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek chapel 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. followed by a service at 12PM.
