David Bruce Evans (67) of Kettering passed away Friday, August 11, 2017. David was preceded by his parents Lee & Doris Evans and brother Daniel Evans. David is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lou Ann Evans, daughter, Shannon Evans (fiancé Eric Green) son, David (Carol) Evans, sister, Ellen (Larry) Earwood, sister-in-law, Nancy Evans and two nephews and one niece. David was a wonderful athlete, and was an All State Baseball player in 1968. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and listening to music. David retired from GM after 31 years of service. Memorial service will be held at 330 pm Tuesday, August 15 at the Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. Friends may come from 2 pm till 330 at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of David.
