David Allen Mundey

David Allen Mundey, age 65, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton. David was born on December 30, 1956 to parents Charles Elden and Lucille (Buscher) Mundey who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his sister, Mary Lou McMahan. David was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He was one of ten children in his family with four brothers and five sisters.

David is survived by his children, Andrea Mundey, David (Lizette) Mundey, Brian (Roberta) Mundey and Shannon Mundey; grandchildren, Bishop, Tyree, Eisley, and Ella; brothers, Bill Mundey, Thomas (Donna) Mundey, Dan (Marlene) Mundey, and Bobby (Sheila) Mundey; sisters, Janet (Mike) Moler, Paula Mercuri, Connie Mundey and Joanne Mundey.

David was a loving father and grandfather, he loved his big family dearly. He retired from the National Elevator Inspector Union as an elevator inspector for the State of Ohio. He had a love and passion for woodworking and had so many talents for building and creating things.

A visitation for David will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45432. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 11, 2022 at 12:00 PM at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, OH 45429. A burial will occur Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Dr., Dayton, Ohio 45409.
