Born on December 22, 1939, in Philothea, OH, Dennis was a man who lived life with quiet strength and unwavering dedication. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1962. For 27 years, he courageously protected the people of Dayton as a firefighter. His commitment to service extended well beyond his career. Dennis was a faithful member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, where his faith provided guidance and strength. Dennis found peace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life, especially in fishing and camping. He and his wife, Judy, enjoyed spending 25 years as snowbirds in Sebring, FL, making memories and friends along the way. Those who knew him will remember his sharp wit, his stubborn spirit, and the way he kept everyone honest.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife of nearly 57 years, Judith (Adams) Dillhoff; their daughter, Kelli Wallace, of Atlanta, GA; his twin sister, Delores Dillhoff, of Oakland, CA; sister Phyllis (Dan) Zizelman of Celina, OH; brothers Robert (Carol) Dillhoff of Beavercreek, OH, and Richard Dillhoff of Oakland, CA.
