Donald Ray Lanham

Donald Ray Lanham, age 69 of New Carlisle, left his earthly home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, July 22, 2016 at his home. He was born on May 11, 1947 in Whitley Co., KY. He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar B. and Nevada Jane (Ball) Lanham, his sister Betty Joyce and half-brother, James. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Barbara Lanham, sister, Retha Raines (Ronnie)of KY, brother, Charles Lanham of Columbus and sons, Daniel Lanham and Duane Lanham of AZ, step-son Robbie Neace (Carolyn) of Dayton and special granddaughter, Angelica Lanham, who he raised. His other grandchildren also survive him: Taylor, Skyler, August, Raven, Jude, and Seth, as do four great-grandchildren and a special friend, Gene O’Bryan and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Don will be greatly missed; he was a man who never met a stranger and was always willing to help others, even throughout his illness. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Tuesday evening, July 26, 2016 from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Rd. on Wednesday, July 27 at 11 AM with Rev. Larry Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
