Powell, Donald, age 73 of Dayton Belmont area passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his daughter Elizabeth “Betty” Bereda and 2 brothers, Lawrence and Bob Powell. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce; 3 sons: Jeff (Lupe), Tim, and Dan (Rhonda) Powell; daughters Jenny (Jim) Weiss and Jamie (Tom) Erdman; sister, Virginia Kress; brother, Ronald Powell; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Donald was a Teamster and served at the Dayton Avenue Baptist Church for many years. The visitation will be held from 12 to 1:30PM on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Dayton Avenue Baptist Church, 1121 Dayton Ave. in Xenia with the service to begin at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Tobias Funeral Home, Dayton, OH.
