Lauer, Doris M. age 103 of Dayton passed away Monday September 9, 2024 at Fairmont Senior Living of Washington Township. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard and her parents, Alfred and Bess Quantz, a son Lloyd D. Lauer of Cary, NC. , a sister Dora Jane Quantz of Dayton and a grandson Dr. Scott D. Lauer of Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her children: Dr. Howard V. Lauer Jr. and wife Bonnie of Houston, Texas and Pamela J. Ditzell and husband Warren of Dayton, also a daughter-in-law, Ann Lauer of Cary, NC. She is survived by 5 grandchildren: Terri A. Martin Houston, Texas, Corinne A. Ditzell of Dayton, Brad A. Ditzell of Dayton, Stacy B. Gesell of Wilson, NC , Marin N. Fothergill of Rolesville, NC. and 12 great grandchildren. Friends may call at 11 am Monday September 16th at the Tobias Funeral Home Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon Monday.
