SCHERR, Doris B. “Duddy”, age 83, of St. Leonard Community, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015. Duddy was born on August 16, 1932 in Charleston, WVA to the late Isidore and Helen Hirsch Balacaier. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, B. Frank Scherr; children Stephen J. (Carla) Scherr, Cheryl L (Robert) Doncaster, and Laurence A. Scherr; grandchildren Jamie, Stephanie, Kayla, Martin, Cassidy, and Ruth; and great grandson Damien. Duddy worked as the Office Manager at South Dayton Urological. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, and playing the slots. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at David’s Cemetery Community Mausoleum, 4600 Mad River Rd., Kettering, Ohio 45429, with the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Private inurnment at David’s Community Mausoleum with Rabbi Judy Chessin officiating.
