BENNETT, Douglas S., age 78, of Kettering, passed away Friday, August 16 at the Dayton Rehabilitation Center. He is survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law: Ann (Jim) Papke, Susan (Craig) Towler and Connie (Tom) Sielaff; sister, Shirley Foster; grandchildren: Angela (Kevin) Berndsen, Phillip (Courtney) Papke, Holly Towler, Teela (fiancé, Ken) and Katie Sielaff. Douglas is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and his dear friend, Jan Merch. He was retired from the United States Air Force. Funeral service 12 noon Wednesday, August 21, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road. Visitation will be 11 am until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Dayton National Cemetery.
