Edward L. Durig

DURIG, Edward L. “Eddie”, age 72 of Dayton, Passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012. Eddie was born on April 23, 1940 in Dayton to the late Edward L. and Betty May Kessler Durig. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia B. “Patty” Daye Durig; two children, Denise (Jay) Jepsen and Dennis (Christine) Durig; three granddaughters, Anna & Lily Durig and Victoria Jepsen; three brothers, Dan and Kim Durig, Ted (Kathy) Durig; sister, Dianne (Mike) Schamp and several nieces and nephews. Eddie was a 1958 graduate of Roosevelt High School and retired as a Captain with the Dayton Fire Department after 25 years in 1990. He was a member of the Living Word Church and the Dayton Gym. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Living Word Church, 926 E. National Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45377, with the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Pastors Patrick Murray and Dennis Durig officiating. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
