SHAFFER, Edward, age 93 of Kettering, OH, passed away on February 2, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Hazel in 1986; wife, Waneda in 2005; daughters, Pat Shaffer Collins and Lillian Hicks; step brother, Herbert Diefenbaugh Shaffer; step sister, Hazel Thompson; brothers, Lloyd, Karl; and sisters, Edna and Velma. Edward is survived by his daughter, Darlene Shaffer and son in law Tim Berthiaume; step daughters, Mary Ann Lawson, Christine (Robert) Lawson; nine grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and two great- great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Edward was a Mason as well as a Shriner, a member of the retirees and Corinth Presbyterian Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 12 Noon.
