Eileen Mureen Lawrence

She was born in Cincinnati, OH, to the late James and Elizabeth Breen. She was the middle child of 5 siblings.

She attended St. Anthony Grade School, Belmont High School and Beavercreek High School. She went on to attend Weston Cosmetology School and became a hairdresser and worked at Brietenstraiter Beauty Salon for 35 years.

Eileen was a lover of animals, especially her dog, Darby. She also enjoyed gardening, crafting, traveling, and racing hydroplanes with her family.

Aside from her parents, Eileen is preceded in death by her sisters Elizabeth (Betty Ann) Short and Patricia (Patsy) Burkhardt; her mother and father in law, Clifton and Ruth Lawrence; and favorite son-in-law Jim Schaefer.

Eileen is survived by her loving and patient husband of 60 years, Jerold Lawrence; daughter Christine Schaefer and son, Gregory Lawrence; grandsons, Evan ( Fiancée Tisha) and Wyatt Schaefer, and Dalton Lawrence. Brothers-in-law, James (Linda) Lawrence and Michael (Patti) Lawrence.

She held a special place in her heart for Tara and Jon Schulte and Tracy Wolfe and all of their girls.

Eileen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

There will be a celebration of life for Eileen on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek at 1:00pm.
