Elaine M. Turner

Elaine was born April 20, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Lamar and Irene Dumbauld of Xenia, Ohio. She graduated from Xenia High School in 1961 and married Robert (Bill) Turner, Jr. in 1964. They lived and raised their children in Beavercreek, Ohio until 2019 when they moved to Xenia.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bill) Turner Jr. in July of 2020, they were happily married for 56 years. She is survived by her sons Rob (Mary) Turner, Tim (Cindy) Turner, and grandchildren Jordan Turner, Tyler Turner, and TJ Turner.

She enjoyed playing bridge and mahjong with her many friends and was a member of the Xenia United Presbyterian Church where she participated in the choir. An avid reader, she also enjoyed the theater and music. She was especially fond of performances by Andrea Bocelli.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage friends and family to consider supporting Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County as they professionally and compassionately supported Elaine during the past month.
