REED, Eleanor Wilmena, (“29 and holdin”), of Fairborn, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Blue Bird Retirement Center in London, Ohio. Eleanor was born February 12, 1922 in Jackson County, Ohio, to the late John Merle and Sarah Ann Callahan. She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1942 and moved to Fairborn, Ohio where she worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, retired from Delco Products and belonged to the IUE/CWA Local. Eleanor had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed good times while traveling, sight-seeing and square dancing with the Super Bees Square Dance Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Reed and loving companion Jim Gibbons, sisters Henrietta (Robert) Terry, Edna (Paul) Overly, Clara (Walter) Schwartz. Survived and missed by her sister Irene (Richard) Yates of West Jefferson, Ohio, sister Frances (Pearlie) Hayner; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Interment Byron Cemetery.
