

Huber, Emil J., age 88, of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Surprise, AZ, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2015, at his residence at 10 Wilmington Place. He was born in St. Louis, MO on June 23, 1927, the son of Emil Andrew and Elizabeth (McDermott) Huber, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Virginia Huber, in 2012, four sisters, Doris, Margie, Ann, Helen and a sister-in-law, Pat. Emil is survived by his children and their spouses, Bob and Marcia Huber, of Sabetha, KS, Jan King, of Phoenix, AZ, Dan and Ann Huber, of Dayton, OH, Jacqui and Robbie Rose, of Kansas City, MO; a brother, Paul Huber, of St. Louis, MO; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Emil proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WW II and was a retired Nursing Home Administrator. He was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Surprise, AZ and currently attended St. Helen Catholic Church in Riverside, OH. Emil was an avid golfer and enjoyed listening to Big Band Music. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015, from St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road, Riverside, OH with Father David Brinkmoeller, Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2015.
