Emily M. Wilson

WILSON, Emily M. (Humphreys) age 89 passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at Sycamore Glen Health Center. She was born Aug 18 1923 in Mt Sterling Kentucky to Alfred J Humphreys and Vivia Gustafson Humphreys. She was the youngest of 11 children. She married Kenneth Earl Wilson Sr. who preceded her in death in 1981. She is survived by 3 children; Diana C (Barry) Kistner, Kenneth (Bo) (Marge) Wilson, James (Bud) (Nancy) Wilson; 7 grandchildren, Alison (LeRoy) Kistner Brown, Patricia (Randy) Reed, Janice (Ralph) Kirby, James R (Jenny) Wilson, Pamela (Robert) Beck, Holly (Michael Sliclen) Wilson, Rebecca Wilson. As well as 9 great grandchildren, Maximilian and Madeleine Brown, Victoria Reed, Mark and Emily Kirby, Katie Wilson, Tessa, Kenny, Emma Beck. She is also survived by one sister Virginia Freeman and many nieces and nephews.

Emily was very active in Greenmont Oak Park Community church where she was a charter member as well as a wedding coordinator for the church for many years. Her family was the most important thing to her, especially all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Friday, June 14, 2013 from 1 to 3 pm. Funeral service to follow, with Dr. Robert Smitley officiating. Interment, David’s Cemetery.
