
PARENTI, Frank V., age 88, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2014 after a long illness. Frank was born and raised in Dayton, OH, and was an electrical engineering graduate of the University of Dayton. He was a registered Professional Engineer and a member of the Dayton, OH and National Societies of Professional Engineers. He retired after 42 year of service at the Standard Register Company as the Vice President of Engineering and Research. Frank was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran, a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish, and an avid golfer. Frank was a loving husband and devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Frank is survived by his wife of 68 years, Adele, their children: Christine (Wesley) Frank of Genoa, IL; David Parenti of Dayton, OH; Kathleen (Larry) Clark of Golden, CO; and Linda Parenti of Centerville, OH. He was preceded in death by his son Joseph Parenti. He is also survived by sister, Grace Harper, of Columbus, OH; daughter-in-law Debbie Parenti of Dayton, OH; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. His grandchildren are Shayna (James Freeman) Cunningham, Lia Cunningham, Jeramiah Clark, Jamie (Parenti) Berning, and Paul (Parenti) Berning. His great-grandchildren are Kieran Freeman, Quinn Freeman, and Paloma Clark. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial, May 14, 2014 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Ackerman Blvd, Kettering, OH with Rev. Daniel Meyer celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frank’s memory to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
